The cycle

How a touchless wash runs

  1. 01The driver pulls into the bay and stops on the guide marks.
  2. 02Vehicle-length detection measures the car; width detection is available on the S360 PRO.
  3. 03Prewash foam is applied and left to lift road dirt.
  4. 04High-pressure water rinses the body, wheels and chassis — no brushes.
  5. 05Protective water wax is applied on the final pass.
  6. 06Drying fans finish the vehicle and the gantry returns home.

Why touchless

Why operators choose it over brushes

  • No paint contact

Nothing but water and foam touches the vehicle, so there are no swirl marks from worn brushes.

  • Lower maintenance

Fewer moving contact parts than a friction tunnel means fewer consumables and less downtime.

  • Unattended operation

With the payment kiosk the bay can run without staff on site.

  • Small footprint

One bay is enough to start; you can add machines as demand grows.

FAQ

Common questions

How much does a touchless car wash machine cost?
JetWash touchless systems currently start at $34,900 for the S1, $44,900 for the S3 and $54,900 for the S360 Pro. Final project cost also depends on shipping, options and site preparation, all confirmed in a written quotation.
How does a touchless car wash machine work?
The vehicle stays still while the gantry moves over it. Vehicle detection varies by model; high-pressure water and foam remove dirt without brushes touching the paint, and drying fans finish the wash. Confirm cycle times for your selected model and wash programme.
Is a touchless car wash safe for paint?
Yes. Nothing physically contacts the paint. Cleaning is done with pressure, chemistry and dwell time, which is why touchless is preferred by dealerships, rental fleets and owners of newer vehicles.
How much space does a touchless car wash machine need?
A single bay is enough for the S1 and S3. Plan for a level concrete pad, water supply, drainage and a three-phase electrical connection. JetWash reviews your site drawings before the order is confirmed.
How many cars per day can one machine wash?
Daily volume depends on wash programme duration, opening hours, customer demand and downtime. Confirm the selected model’s cycle times and assess demand at your site.
